Device and setting
Understand the physical installation, user interaction, consumables and service access. Define the operating conditions before choosing a configuration.
OUR TECHNOLOGY APPROACH
We think about an IoT service as a complete system — the access point, the information it creates and the people who keep it operating.
SHE SUVIDHA / SERVICE CONCEPT
Physical access to supplies
Location + resource availability
Replenishment and support
Illustrated system approach. Device specifications, interfaces and site arrangements are defined for the agreed scope.
FOUR DESIGN QUESTIONS
A connected product becomes useful through decisions about reliability, information and everyday operation.
Understand the physical installation, user interaction, consumables and service access. Define the operating conditions before choosing a configuration.
Decide which information is useful and how it reaches the intended interface. Include a plan for stale information and interrupted connections.
A location, access hours and a resource status should be understandable. The interface should help someone make the next practical decision.
Assign a person or team to stock, maintenance and support. A digital status should connect to a responsibility that can be acted on.
INFORMATION WITH A PURPOSE
Stock and maintenance questions can usually be discussed at the access-point level. An initial planning enquiry does not need individual health details or a person’s menstrual history.
For any proposed deployment, define the data needed, who can see it, how long it is retained and how support requests are handled. Those decisions belong in the project scope.
Website planning tools work in the visitor’s browser. Only an explicitly submitted contact message is sent to this website’s enquiry inbox.
Start with the use case and the real operating conditions. Agree what a pilot is intended to test, how success will be assessed and what happens when something does not work as expected.
